Greetings Boat Safety Class Students,

Due to the Virus and Government Mandated Regulations, all classes have been suspended.  We do not expect to be able to operate until mid-June or after as per the Governor's Executive Order #138

We at Boat Safe US take boating safety seriously. Our goal has always been to give our students the necessary tools in the classroom to make safe decisions when they are on the water.

One of our primary rules when on the water is situational awareness. Situational awareness is defined as follows: the perception of environmental elements and events with respect to time and space, the comprehension of their meaning, and the projection of their future status.

Boat Safe US is now bringing situational awareness to you before you set foot into the classroom! As news continues to unfold regarding the Coronavirus, it is more important than ever for you, the student, to be informed on how the virus is spread and how to protect yourself. Our source for this information is the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) The link for the CDC Coronavirus COVID 19 information is as follows:

Boat Safe US respectfully asks any student considering our classes to educate him/herself before attending a Boating Safety class and to then use his/her “situational awareness” once you arrive at the class. It is important to us that our students are comfortable with their classroom environment. After perusing the CDC site, if you feel uncomfortable being in our classroom setting, you will be free to excuse yourself. No Judgment! We will work with you to reschedule another boating safety class. Only students who complete the class and pass the 60 question multiple choice exam will receive a NJ Boating Safety Certificate and a NASBLA card.

Boat Safe US offers the most Boating Safety Classes and Proctored exam locations in NJ.

If you do not feel well on the day of the class or you think you may have been exposed to the COVID 19 virus or you simply feel uncomfortable attending a class because of the current pandemic, please stay home; there will always be a selection of future dates to take our class or proctored exam.

Giving our students the tools to be safe will continue to be our mission.
